Valflora Crème Fraîche Nature I have already received various "likes" but no answer from Migros to the question: When will there be a real closable lid again????
It stays that way... as soon as a product is open, it should be used up after a maximum of 3 days. Whether that's with a lid or with foil... in Germany, many dairy products have been covered with foil for ages, and here people get upset...

Edited
I wasn't asking about the shelf life but about a resealable lid. I'm not the only one who is upset and besides, we are here in Switzerland and not in Germany, where everything is cheaper anyway!!! Incidentally, my question is directed at Migros-Infoline!
The infoline has said in several posts that it will stay that way. If you want a lid, you can use these silicone lids. And no, not everything is cheaper in Germany. In addition, the country is also 10 times larger, which is noticeable in the production volume... Other countries have had these lids for quite a long time, and nobody has starved to death or anything else because of these lids. If Migros or other retailers do nothing for the environment, it's not good either. If they do something, it's not good for the people either... The retailers are really at an impasse, in some cases Coop also has these lids... btw

Hello, which rennet is used here? Is it microbial? So vegetarian?
Hello SumitK, thank you for your question. We do not use rennet in this product. The product consists of milk fat and is obtained from milk. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why don't you offer this crème fraîche in a smaller size? Then you could use it all and the lid problem would be solved.

Hello Tulip Woman, unfortunately the demand for smaller sizes is currently too low. Nevertheless, we will take your input on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This aluminum lid is so stupid. How am I supposed to keep the rest of the contents fresh? There must have been desk criminals at work.

I'm annoyed about the new aluminum lid. Before, the cup was easy to close. Today I bought the silicone Flexi lids. They don't hold at all. Neither on the cup nor on the jar! Now I'm just frustrated. If you were to add a reusable lid (like the laundry ball), I would be fine with the change. But without a proper lid, there is simply a lot more food waste. That's a shame. As far as I'm concerned, plastic could be reduced in the fruit and vegetable section.

Hello Curl, thank you for your message. We're sorry to hear that the lid is causing frustration. We understand that unsuccessful attempts at fitting can be frustrating. We are always open to suggestions for improvement. That's why we're looking into your request for a solid material. We will not let the opportunity pass us by. We will be happy to provide you with instructions in the form of photos. We hope the photos will provide clarity. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you very much for your answer and for testing a solid reusable lid! Unfortunately, Migros Volketswil does not have the cover foils you described. Or I haven't found them. I bought the silicone Flexi lids from Tangan. I was also expecting lids and not just thin foils that are useless and don't hold at all. I only saw afterwards that customers have been reporting for two years that the product is unusable and should please be removed from the range. I will be returning the product. 15 francs for unusable silicone films is not right.

Hello Curl, the article "Tangan N°29" is intended for glass and ceramic bowls. They are rather unsuitable for plastic yoghurt pots. We will contact you again privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

my words exactly! the ¨Bio¨ vegetables are sealed in plastic !!! ...the saleswoman said that in order to save plastic, the lid of the SourCream (not resealable!) is now made of ALUMINIUM! We learned back in the 70s that aluminum is extremely energy-intensive to produce, hence all the yogurts WITHOUT aluminum. Please go back to the books. ASAP

Migros Kloten doesn't have the covers either. And we have now also bought the tagan, oh I'm annoyed now that I didn't read this beforehand. The staff we asked were unable to advise us. Now we've also spent 15 Swiss francs for nothing.

Why is the cup no longer fitted with a lockable lid?
Hello Flint4, thank you for the question. We made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in household waste. We have been offering the silicone lid(https://www.migros.ch/de/product/704527600000) for some time now, which can be used flexibly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

If this is to be the alternative.... I use a drying rack for silicone covers.........so laborious and after two or three times they end up in the bin......
Hello Flint4, the silicone lid can be used indefinitely. It can also be washed, even in the dishwasher. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

But dear Migros, you have the plastic collection bag, so the lid also goes into the circular economy... and do you really believe that the aluminum lid goes into recycling and doesn't end up in the garbage? I would say that more than 90% dispose of the aluminum lid in the garbage, as it is full of cream or yogurt...
Perhaps the customers should have been asked beforehand how they handle this. It's both customer-unfriendly and environmentally unfriendly. The lid is disposed of in the cow bag, as is the cup, and rinsing is done in one go. The lid makes the cream resealable, but not the aluminium foil, which is also an absolute pain to rinse off - if it doesn't tear when you open it and therefore ends up straight in the bin. This is really ill-conceived and nonsensical in every respect.

😑 Why is the large pack no longer available here? I'm usually really a budget fan but the creme fraiche is not the same... a real shame!

Hello Perlensinne, that's right, we no longer offer the large Valflora Crème Fraîche in this version. But we have transferred it to the M-Budget brand without changing the recipe. It's a shame that you no longer like it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello to the migipedia team I love this crème fraîche, but have to do without it from time to time because of the fat content. Can't you make a Legere version?;) In Germany there is a good one from Dr. Oetker, but unfortunately I can't find anything comparable here in Switzerland... Best regards :)

Hello KillerCookie, thank you for your input. We do not currently offer a lighter version than Valflora Crème Fraîche Nature. We have put your request to the product managers - they will consider it when they next revise the range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good morning,
is there a possibility that Migros will introduce "sour cream", this is used in a lot of cake recipes and creme fraiche or sour cream unfortunately do not produce the same end product in terms of taste when baking. Thank you
11 years ago
Hi guest
Thank you for your inquiry - we are very pleased about your interest.
The term comes from Eastern Europe (smetana = cream) and is a normal sour cream. In northern and eastern Germany, Schmand means cream. If sour cream is used in a recipe, it can be replaced by full cream or crème fraîche.
We hope for your understanding and look forward to your next visit.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Could sour cream then also be sold unrefrigerated?
In Germany, sour cream is usually sold unrefrigerated on the shelf?
Hello mmoladi
Thank you for your inquiry.
As our sour cream products are produced using the PAST process, they also need to be chilled.
The UHT production process, which is required for an unrefrigerated product, is currently not planned for our sour cream products.
We hope our answer clarifies your question.
See you soon in your Migros! Your M-Infoline Team
