Hello Migros When will these frozen nuggets be vegan? Obviously it is possible to make them vegan, as with the non-frozen nuggets. The label is easily overlooked, as many people don't assume that a v-love product contains eggs. Quite apart from the environment and the torture of these animals...

But the chilled V-Love nuggets are no longer vegan either (they contain milk and eggs) :-/.

Hello Adrian7, thank you for your suggestion. With V-Love, we want to promote more plant-based consumption and meet a growing customer need. As a result, more plants should find their way onto plates with our own brand. Around 10% of the line's products are currently vegetarian, the rest vegan. We are working on creating vegan recipes wherever possible and revising existing recipes. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the nuggets from the frozen food aisle not vegan like the non-frozen ones? That is very misleading.

Hello Amsek, thank you for your inquiry about the V-Love Veggie Nuggets. These are two different products from different manufacturers. However, we would like to use the corresponding labels on the packaging to indicate the respective type of product (vegan/vegetarian) as clearly as possible. However, we would be happy to take your input on board so that we can check for adjustments if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I thought Migros no longer sells anything containing barn eggs? Or only the eggs themselves? :(
3 years ago
Hello Elepaio, thank you for your question. We use barn eggs in the nuggets. This means that the hens are kept in barns where they can roam freely. In addition, the stables are equipped with nesting boxes, which contain objects for playing and pecking. Not all of our processed products contain free-range eggs. So far, we have converted all egg pasta, mayonnaise and organic products (organic guidelines stipulate free-range farming). However, it is not possible for us to convert all products to free-range without further ado. This is because there are currently not enough free-range eggs on the market. You can find more interesting information on this topic here: https://www.migros.ch/de/nachhaltigkeit/nachhaltige-produkte/unsere-fortschritte/tierische-produkte/eier.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIs-OY3oaU8AIVmIbVCh3JJARREAAYASAAEgL6w_D_BwE#hintergrund. Eggs from barn farming are not acceptable!!! Moreover, the answer is a bad joke... max. 9 chickens on 1 m2 and they have something to play and peck at... Cruelty to animals and nothing else!

Can't you also sell these nuggets in large bags, like the chicken nuggets? I also read that the eggs are barn eggs... would be great if they were free-range!

Hello LaStellina, thank you very much for your input. There are currently no plans for larger packaging. However, we will be happy to take this suggestion on board for the next product range revision. The nuggets contain barn eggs. This means that the hens are kept in barns where they can roam freely. A maximum of 9 hens are kept per square meter. The stables are equipped with nesting boxes, which contain objects for playing and pecking. However, we will be happy to forward this input to the relevant specialist department so that a change can be checked. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Mega tasty, even non-veggies loved them. It's a shame that it contains proteins from barn eggs, I prefer organic, so I might not buy them again. Is there any improvement in sight?

Hello Susilajn, we are delighted that the nuggets are so well received. Thank you for your input. We will be happy to look into using free-range eggs or offering organic veggie nuggets the next time we revise our range. However, with this type of product in particular, it is very difficult to obtain all the necessary ingredients in organic quality. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does it contain onions, shallots, garlic, leeks and chives?

Hello Ong, thank you for your question. The Vegi Nuggets contain onions as herbs - shallots, garlic and chives are not included. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
