Is there a comparable product in organic quality?

Hello Wertekompass, we do not stock a comparable product in organic quality in Migros. However, you can find Alnatura margarine in Alnatura, article number 209500006900. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Are trans fats produced during the manufacturing process?

Hello Value Compass, Migros does not use partially hydrogenated fats and oils. The reason for this is the so-called trans fatty acids that can be produced during the partial (i.e. incomplete) hardening of fats and oils. The complete hardening of fats and oils does not produce trans fatty acids. V-Love Rapeseed Margarine uses fully hydrogenated rapeseed oil. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros Is there a way to make this margarine more spreadable/slightly harder? Like many people in the reviews, I think the ingredients and the taste of the margarine are great, but many people don't like the consistency (regardless of the lot, I've been buying the margarine for years). Kind regards

Hello K_2, thank you very much for your message. First of all, we are pleased that you like the taste of the margarine. At the same time, we appreciate you drawing our attention to changes that you hope will give you a complete taste experience. No changes are currently planned. Nevertheless, the division managers are prepared to address the issue as part of the next recipe revision. If necessary, they will take further precautions to help improve consistency. We hope our efforts are in your interest. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros, This margarine is much too soft at room temperature, if it stays on the table for longer it becomes almost liquid and looks unappetizing. I suspect that the water content is too high. Couldn't the consistency be changed? Minimum shelf life until 06.11.21 The lot number is probably 2044.701 The lot number is not correctly marked on the pack, e.g. with an L in front of it. The number is under the Migros logo, thank you! Kind regards.

Hello Guido-1, thank you for your message. So that we can check the corresponding production, we need the best-before date and the adjacent lot number of your packaging. We look forward to your feedback. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Guido-1, thank you for the information. We have checked the retained samples and found no discrepancies. If you notice another deviation, please send an email to m-infoline@migros.ch. We may then need the margarine for inspection. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros Thank you for the ever-growing range of vegan products! I'm very surprised why this rapeseed oil margarine is so expensive compared to standard sunflower margarine? I think it's a shame, as it means that many people are probably turning to the cheaper margarine with palm fat. Thank you very much for your answer and best regards

Hi Jeannyyy I suspect that the aha certification is the reason for the higher price. best regardsFrederica

Hello Jeannyyy, thank you for your inquiry. The raw material used, rapeseed oil, is generally more expensive than palm oil. Our rapeseed oil comes from Switzerland. The rapeseed plant is also less productive than a palm oil palm and is more complex to cultivate. The production and management costs of Swiss rapeseed are therefore more expensive than foreign palm oil. Furthermore, an additional production step is necessary to ensure that 100% of the rapeseed oil can be used. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Migros I would like an organic margarine without sunflower oil. Because cheap sunflower oil is dumped into every product, our diet contains far too many omega 6 fatty acids, which in turn inhibits the body's own conversion of omega 3 into the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA. A mixture of palm, coconut and rapeseed oil would be desirable. But all certified organic and fair trade. Many thanks Adrian

Hello Adrian7, thank you very much for your input. Only 0.4 % sunflower oil is used in this margarine. This quantity only provides a very small amount of omega 6 fatty acids. The ratio of omega 6 and 3 in the rapeseed margarine is very good at 2:1. Due to technical and product-specific requirements, we have to use the 0.4 % sunflower oil and cannot easily replace it. However, we were happy to share your input with our specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I see that people have already asked twice where the rapeseed oil comes from, but I can't find an answer.... Where is the oil from? Mercii :-)

Good evening gingergila↵M-Infoline wrote to eco-amy: . ..vegetable margarine based on Swiss rapeseed oil..., so it's from Switzerland 🇨🇭↵Best regards↵Frederica

Hello gingergila, thank you for your question. The rapeseed oil and water are the main ingredients (99%). Both come from Switzerland. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where does the rapeseed oil come from? Very important information!

Hello eco-amy, This margarine is produced by our own Migros industry MIFA AG. It is a purely vegetable margarine based on Swiss rapeseed oil and without palm oil. It also meets the current vegan trend and is lactose-free. The margarine is suitable for frying, cooking, baking and, of course, as a spread. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where does the rapeseed oil come from? Unfortunately, this is not clear from the list of ingredients.
