I live in Toggenburg and would have to drive over 20 kilometers by car to find a Migros that has the dough in its range. What a pity.
i haven't tried them, but as with other vegan products here, i'm put off by the composition (another example is the vegan v-love pizza). the list of ingredients is almost endless, compared to non-vegan mailänderli (or pizza), the focus would actually be on flour, leavening agents, fat and sugar (or cheese).
instead of simply replacing the non-vegan ingredients such as butter or cheese with the vegan alternative, dozens of things are added that first have to be researched to understand what they are (v-love pizza is even worse).
can't you make these vegan products as simple as the originals? many vegan and/or intolerant people don't love such endless artificial ingredient lists. with or without greenwashing and trendy vocabulary.
Hello maoow, it's true: many vegan alternatives have complex compositions, long ingredient lists and sometimes less favorable nutritional values. V-Love products (especially V-Love meat substitutes or products that contain meat substitutes) demand the highest level of similarity to the original in terms of packaging, texture, appearance, taste, smell and preparation. Reconciling all of this is very demanding and a difficult undertaking. But we are working on it! Incidentally, the longer list of ingredients for the V-Love Milanese pastry is due to the vegetable margarine; a cleaner list of ingredients is hardly possible.
Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
