Is the chili sin carne being discontinued or why is it no longer available almost anywhere at the moment?

Hello cric, thank you for your inquiry. The product remains in the range and should also be available. In which store were you looking for it? We no longer have the predecessor product from M-Classic in our range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I looked in 3400 Burgdorf, but it's not available in the surrounding stores either (except Shoppyland, but there's only a small number left). Maybe just a supply shortage. I'm glad it's still in the range.

Hello cric You can still find the product you are looking for in selected stores. As space in our stores is limited, demand and location will determine whether an item is available. You can buy V-Love Chili sin Carne in the following stores: Marktgasse Bern, Worb, Langenthal and Shoppyland. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I was interested in the CHili Sin Carne. As it contains corn and tofu, I wanted to find out where the canned products come from. The only thing I found was that the product was made in Switzerland. It is very important to me that the food I eat does not contain genetically modified products! Can you guarantee that the products are not genetically modified? I know the products are very cheap, but .... The environment counts too! Without nature, no food! Soy in particular is a big issue! Where does the soy come from? Are no rainforests cut down to produce it? Is it produced sustainably? https://ecodemy.de/magazin/soja-anbau/ There is also the possibility of replacing soy with lupins, which are very similar in structure. Lupins come from the north, and seitan could also be used. However, carrots or potatoes could also be used, as it already contains a lot of beans! I would be very grateful if you would also think about the environment (as with MSC fish, for example). We can't afford this overexploitation of nature forever! It's much nicer when we work together with nature anyway! Then it's fun and everyone benefits! Best regards and I look forward to your feedback! Iris Rossi

Hello Irossi, thank you for your question. In principle, GMO (genetically modified organisms) ingredients must be labeled on products in Europe (including Switzerland). The exception is a GMO content of less than 0.9% in the raw materials. This is the technically unavoidable proportion over which we have no influence. The soy comes from Europe, the corn from France, the tomatoes from Italy and the onions also from Europe. We were happy to pass on your suggestions on the use of lupins and seitan to the specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is there caramel sugar syrup in it?

Because Migros loves sugar

Presume - to color the dish 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi tomzrh, thank you for your question. The caramelized sugar syrup is added because of the appearance of the vegan mince. This makes it look more like minced meat in terms of color. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
