Tuca Passion

We want the original Passaia from Rivella AG back! Why shouldn't that be possible? If it was too sweet, you could always dilute it with mineral water. Everyone is independent and responsible enough to decide for themselves what they want to eat and drink and how they look after their health. That's not Migros' job. I also wonder how healthy these artificial sweeteners are for our bodies in the long term. So when will the original Passaia and Passaia light be back on the shelves without any changes to the recipe?

One thing has to be said, no artificial sweeteners are used here, "stevia" comes from a plant called honey herb, among other things, which has been used for several hundred years to sweeten drinks and food in other cultures, of course, our palate only knows the taste of granulated sugar.

From my point of view, this sweetener used here is not artificial, it is obtained from a plant that grows in nature, our taste only knows granulated sugar.

... granulated sugar and honey may be foreign to the palate, but what about the insulin release with stevia? Why is green Coca Cola (with stevia) no longer available, for example?

Rhyfallforelle your answer does not address my question!

Okay, sales of Coca-Cola were probably too low, but what about Lipton Ice Tea, Fuse Ice Tea, Nestea, they still sweeten with stevia. For many years.

So when will the original Passaia and Passaia light return to the shelves without any changes to the recipe?

Stevia has a taste of its own, but Lipton and the others can mask it acceptably. So I don't know why Tuca tastes worse than a warm light drink, as if you were sipping an Assugrin pure. I can't accept the argument about the sugar, Passaia had 10g sugar and the new Fanta Mango has 9.8g according to FoodFacts. So I would ask you to bring back the old Passaia with less sugar but the same ingredients. I don't understand why such a great customer need is being trampled underfoot here.

Hello shymira, thank you for your message. Given your description, we understand why you would like to see the Passaia drinks return. At the same time, we appreciate you contacting us so that we can explain what prompted us to do this. The in-depth clarifications with our specialist department took some time. We are sorry that we are only getting back to you now. We would like to provide you with the following information: After analyzing the product range, we decided to discontinue the variants. This is not due to the sugar content. In order to remain competitive, we monitor the situation on the market very closely so that we can react appropriately to changes with new concepts. As the space on our shelves is limited, we always have to make a certain selection - in this specific case, the Passaia had to make way. We understand that such measures are not always well received. However, they are unavoidable from an economic point of view. For the reasons mentioned above, there are currently no plans to resume the articles. In this context, "Tuca Passion" is not a comparable substitute, even though it contains less sugar. Stevia is originally a plant, but the steviol glycosides are extracted using a complex chemical process. However, the ingredient has no effect on blood sugar or insulin secretion. We hope these lines are informative for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
