Very good salad, will it stay in the fall/winter?
Hello miakatze05, thank you for your inquiry. This salad is available all year round. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Unfortunately, the last 2 times it had leaves in the salt which then rotted!!!
Hello miakatze05, thank you very much for your feedback. Oh dear, we're sorry that you didn't enjoy it twice. Please let us know your purchasing region and send us a photo of the product label if you still have one. We will be happy to discuss your experience with the supplier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Wengihof branch and quality. Since the appearance of the trio salad, I only buy this one. For me, this salad is ideal because it is still fresh even after more than two weeks and without taking up a lot of space in the fridge! You can eat it as and when you like, but of course you have to water it up to every day.
For strategic reasons, I have been buying it more often at the Wengihof store in Zurich for about 6 months. During this time I have noticed that often up to 50% of the lettuce leaves are unusable, whereas in other stores it is not uncommon for not a single leaf to be thrown away!
Perhaps it would be appropriate to sensitize the management and staff in this branch to its correct and, in particular, careful handling...
With regard to plastic packaging, I agree with the opponents. However, I can generally recommend taking the salad out of the packaging immediately at home and putting it in a bowl and watering it. And if you unpack it immediately, it is important that no leaves are damaged during packing, as they will bend and spoil. The Wengihof store must be doing something else wrong, because very often the lettuce rots from them too...
And yes, it would be nice to be able to maintain this PRoduct in all branches.
Well, good luck anyway
Hello JoelT Thank you for your feedback and your enthusiasm for our trio salad. We are delighted that it suits your needs so well. We have passed on your comments about the quality in the Wengihof branch to the branch manager so that the team can be made aware of the careful handling. According to our standards, the salad is presented without watering or cooling, which can lead to challenges, especially in summer. We do everything we can to guarantee quality in all stores. We are happy to take on board your wish to make the trio salad available in all branches. We look forward to welcoming you back to your Migros soon. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Last week, after many months in paper packaging, I found the trio lettuce in plastic for the first time (MM Hochdorf). As I also sometimes shop at MM Lenzburg, I have known for some time that the trio lettuce is apparently packaged differently depending on the cooperative, as it was available there in plastic.
I cannot confirm that the lettuce keeps longer in plastic (previous M-Infoline answer). On the contrary, the outer leaves rot more quickly in plastic packaging. The presentation in the store also seems to me to be very successful in paper - I always found the trio lettuce straight away and the paper bag was hardly ever damp.
I remember that Migros used to advertise years ago that they were saving plastic. Accordingly, I don't understand such packaging changes from paper to plastic (MM Hochdorf) at all. That's one reason for me to stop buying the lettuce and switch to the paper-wrapped trio lettuce at the Coop instead (same production method, just a different producer).
Hello Porridgelover Thank you for your feedback on the trio salad. Due to a national packaging adjustment, the trio lettuce is now packaged in plastic. However, we thank you for your input and have passed this on to the relevant specialist departments. We hope to be able to continue to welcome you here. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is the trio salad now packaged in plastic instead of paper? The salad stayed fresh longer with the paper packaging and the packaging was more ecological
Hello mrcrakap, thank you for your inquiry. We only offer lettuce in certain cooperatives. Please let us know your purchasing region so that we can make further enquiries with the relevant specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
The question from mrcrakap was why in plastic instead of paper and not where to buy it or is it offered different packaging depending on the cooperative?

why is the salad now wrapped in plastic and no longer in paper? can this be changed again?
Hello AndreaDaniela, thank you for your message, we have switched to a new supplier from the region for the trio salad. As the production method is new, the processes need to be optimized first. Our specialist department will then take care of the packaging of the trio salad and check it again. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Please be sure to return the paper packaging!
Hello AndreaDaniela, thank you for letting us know about your request. We have informed the responsible product managers about your comment. At the moment, however, we cannot promise you that we will offer the paper packaging again. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
dear migros the trio salad is still being sold in plastic after more than 9 months. why can't 'the supplier from the region' pack the salad in paper like the supplier before? single-use plastic must be avoided. best regards
Hello AndreaDaniela, thank you for your feedback. We will be happy to contact the relevant specialist department. As this is a regional supplier, please let us know your purchasing region. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello AndreaDaniela, thank you very much for your feedback. There are several reasons why we switched to plastic. Above all, the better shelf life of the salad to counteract the issue of food waste. In addition, the paper packaging was always very wet due to the lettuce, which really detracted from the appearance. In addition, the product was not visible enough in this packaging. In this case, quality prevailed. However, we are in talks with our supplier and are looking for more sustainable and better quality packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does the lettuce grow back if you cut it downwards?
Hello PatrickJenni, thank you for your request. It is perfectly possible to plant the lettuce. To ensure growth, you should leave the heart standing. The outer leaves can then be harvested. Please note the following: If it starts to flower, the life cycle is over. In this case, the leaves will taste bitter. We hope this information helps you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
