my favorite grape, aroma and taste - wonderful
The only good grapes you sell, because they are a bit sour and therefore tastier. It is the grape of my childhood: I used to help harvest it. Too bad it can only be found for a short time and every now and then it is a bit shriveled. Since it is the most cultivated grape in Ticino (Merlot) I don't understand why it is so hard to find. The rest of the time there are tasteless grapes.

Every fall I look for these grapes for my husband. In contrast to the rather bland taste of most of cultivated grapes in the stores, these still have a strong, somewhat musky taste similar to the wild concord grapes from N. America, mostly used for jelly. The aroma, in particular, is intense, and makes some people hesitant to try them.
