How much laundry detergent should I use for a load of about 2.5 kg with hard water? The package says about 85 ml. I think that's quite a lot.

For normally soiled laundry, about 50–75 ml of laundry detergent is usually sufficient; for heavily soiled laundry, 75–90 ml is recommended. It’s important to follow the dosage chart on the packaging, as the concentration can vary depending on the product. Many manufacturers base their dosage recommendations on 4–5 kg of laundry. For 2.5 kg, therefore, about half that amount is often sufficient. However, since you have hard water, you’ll generally need a little more detergent than you would with soft water. I used Total White shirt detergent because my white shirt had a black stain from a car engine, and the detergent didn't remove it completely. Can anyone recommend another product or method to effectively remove this stain? 1921681254.cc
