Hello everyone, Has the formula been adjusted or where is the old, normal Total? I have a family with a lot of allergy sufferers (e.g. neurodermatitis) - so far we have all washed with Total because it didn't cause any reactions. Now it smells like fabric softener, so we will probably have to look for a new detergent. Kind regards

Hello MigrosTipTop, thank you for your inquiry. None of the Total washing powders contain fabric softener. For some time now, we have been making the products more concentrated, which may make them smell a little more intense. Due to the change in concentration, the dosage needs to be adjusted. Less powder is now needed. We hope this information is helpful for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Do I have to add descaler (water hardness 32 French hardness) to Total 1 for All (powder) or is it included in the powder?

Hello heiriki4252, the dosage for soft, medium and hard water is indicated on the packaging. You must therefore select the highest dosage on the table, then no further addition of softeners is necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, do I understand the product description correctly that this detergent does not contain celullase?
Hello Totorou, thank you for your inquiry. Total detergent 1 for all contains the enzyme cellulase. Cellulase has the positive effect of preventing pilling, i.e. the formation of fluff and pills. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

Dear Infoline team, thank you very much for your quick reply. Is there a detergent that works for (almost) all textiles and does not contain cellulase? As you correctly wrote, it removes the lint on the surface of the fabric. However, as I learned from the staff at Mibelle in Frenkendorf, this enzyme does not differentiate between unwanted lint and desired threads of the fabric. Hence my desire for a cellulase-free alternative. Perhaps the sensitive version has none? Best regards Totorou

Hello Totorou, we were happy to clarify your question with Mifa. Detergents can contain cellulase (= this restores the smooth surface of the fibers) and protease (= protein-splitting enzymes). There may have been a slight mix-up here (if wool is always washed with a detergent containing protease (not a detergent suitable for wool), or even pretreated with it in concentrated form, it can destroy the fibers). Wool comes from the fur of sheep and other animals. The fluffy hair of the animals is a natural fiber and consists mainly of protein. This is why wool detergents, and therefore also 1 for all detergents, must not contain protease. Cotton and other fabrics do not contain "protein" fibers.
A detergent that is also suitable for wool and silk does not contain protease, as this would attack the wool fibers. Cellulase has a positive effect on wool in small quantities, preventing pilling, i.e. the formation of fluff and pills. This is also the case in such products. High doses of cellulase can attack wool. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
