The taste is okay, but they stick together so strongly that you can hardly separate them. The consistency also has little to do with udon noodles. They are far too soft. The bite and the typical mouthfeel are completely missing.
Great for frying or as a noodle soup.

I think they're great, quick to make, thick and slurpy - that's how udon should be for me
handy in case of laziness. the price remains high for water and flour. UPDATED 29.06.2025. in the end, I found them too thin for udon. the last ones I bought were completely broken and mushy in the mouth.
