Well, no matter how long or short you cook them, the consistency just isn't right. I would go for something else.

Once invited, I was able to watch my neighbors from Isehara, Japan, make them and then taste them 😍😍😍 These are good, but when you compare them to homemade ones...
It takes a little while to get the hang of cooking them properly. But then they are very tasty in soups or stir-fries.
Delicious. Easy to cook. Quick to prepare.
Unfortunately from China, which is a no-go.
