Hi Migi I was pleased to see that it says Produit en Suisse on the tube again. Are all Thomy products Swiss Made again and if so, when?

Hi Profigipfeli, thank you for your inquiry and for your patience. We are happy to confirm that the production of traditional Thomy mayonnaises and mustards in tubes - such as Thomy Mayonnaise à la française - has always taken place in Basel. The production site for this product has remained the same. Other Thomy innovations, such as some of the barbecue sauces, occasionally come from other countries. You will find the relevant information on the products. Hopefully we were able to help you with our answer. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the mayonnaise gluten-free?

Yes, otherwise it would be marked BOLD in the ingredients. Otherwise it is also here https://www.codecheck.info/p/lebensmittel/mayo-ketchup-senf/mayonnaise/thomy-mayonnaise-a-la-francaise-265g.html

Hello Starlet, Thomy mayonnaise does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, oats, etc.). In addition, ingredients containing gluten must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Hello, I have always been delighted with Thomy mayonnaise a la française. The taste is still perfect. But why do the products have to be changed all the time? For some time now, the consistency has no longer been right... After 2-3 days, for example, the salad dressing becomes completely runny again. It also behaves differently at the beginning... Please return to the old consistency. THANKS

Hello Quiiiick, thank you very much for your message. First of all, we are pleased that the taste of the product has convinced you. We are all the more sorry that this no longer applies to the consistency. You are right to contact us. This is the only way we can follow up on your comment. For further clarification, we would ask you to send us the best-before date and the batch number (a combination of numbers and letters) of one tube. We thank you in advance for your valuable support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where do the eggs come from? Where is this mayo made?

Hello ---ela---, thank you for your question. This mayonnaise is made in France. We use eggs from free-range hens for the preparation. The eggs come from various European countries. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Really? This classic from Thomy is now made abroad, I can hardly believe it!!!? I just bought one today. It still says "made in Switzerland". No, there must be a mix-up. Yes, M-Classic Mayo (and many other Migros sauces in general) are now made in France.

Hello ---ela---, thank you for your feedback. This information was indeed incorrect - I apologize. This mayonnaise is produced in Basel. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know which country the "free-range" eggs used in Thomy's mayonnaise come from. Thank you.

Hello Alison, Thank you very much for your interest in THOMY's products. As the quantity of eggs required for the manufacture of THOMY products exceeds the availability of Swiss agriculture, these eggs are sourced from the Netherlands. In May, THOMY will be replacing free-range eggs with soil-raised eggs. We wish you bon appétit and send you our warmest regards. Your M-Infoline team

Why is the Thomy mayo with garlic not (yet) available in Migros...?

Hey brunopatrick Thanks for your post. We do not (yet) have this type of mayonnaise in our range. We will be happy to pass on your suggestion to our specialist department. Please don't be disappointed if we are unable to meet your request, or not immediately. Have a nice day and best regards from the M-Infoline team

I would very much appreciate it if Thomy Mayo were also available in a smaller pack. The tube is too big for small households, so I can't use it up by the expiration date. Thank you very much for considering this request!

Hello conik@sunrise.ch
Thanks for your input. We will look into including smaller packaging in the next range revision. We can't promise you anything, but we appreciate good suggestions.

The "new" fastener is useless! It's totally cumbersome! Otherwise the mayo is the best I know!

Dear guest
As this mayonnaise is a third-party brand, we unfortunately have little or no influence on the packaging. As Thomy is not only sold in Migros, we are unfortunately unable to change the packaging. We therefore recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly.
Kind regards

I am fortunately not addicted, but the closure could be better

The new cap is a real test! Fortunately, the average lifespan of a tube in my household is only one week :-)

Hello watschli

As this is a third-party brand, we have little or no influence on the packaging. Also, as Thomy is not only sold in Migros. We therefore recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly.
