- The name suggests that it is a thermal composter with insulation, but this is not the case - Casting residues hinder assembly - Parts already warped due to production/transport/storage, so that a) assembly is difficult even with two people, b) lid does not close and force is now acting on the hinge; fear of breakage - Lid can only be fitted into the holder in the side wall with a great deal of force - Not all parts supplied are described in the instructions
I didn't choose the cheapest model in order to have something usable. Conclusion: The parts that have to be pushed into each other are poorly made - which makes it correspondingly laborious. The assembled composter shifts/distorts despite careful filling, so that the lid can never be completely closed (which would actually be the point). When it was 1/3 full, a corner joint came loose again and a side section tore at the bottom when it was refitted. I've only had the composter up for just over a week! Not the quality you would expect for CHF 92!
