I've just bought five pieces of butter. It was only when I was cooking and looked at the receipt that I realized that the cashier hadn't typed in the promotion correctly. I ended up paying CHF 18 instead of CHF 13.50. In the Migros app you can see four butters and the price CHF 13.50!!!!! The butters are not shown in the box. Take a look at the picture under Promotions and you'll agree with me. I'm pretty annoyed and feel manipulated:(

The fact that the Quatro package (12.90CHF) is more expensive than the DUO package (6.40CHF) is outrageous. How is the price surcharge of 10 centimes justified?

But I suspect that it has to do with rounding: At 5%, one unit costs Sfr. 3.23, so two Sfr. 6.46, rounded down to the tenner unit Sfr.6.40. Four units Sfr. 12.92 so rounded down Sfr. 12.90. Rounded to the fiver it would be Sfr. 6.45 and 12.90.
