-What kind of glue is available in your stores for the installation of Swisspor EPS 15, 1cm ridge foam panels? Can these panels be painted or even wallpapered? What is the risk in the event of fire? Thank you very much for your reply.
Hello Courage, thank you for your inquiry. When installing rigid foam panels - in this case EPS panels - only solvent-free adhesives should generally be used. Which adhesive to use depends on the exact application. For application as interior wall insulation, full-surface bonding is required, generally with a cement-based adhesive. EPS insulation materials can also be painted with a dispersion. Theoretically, they can also be wallpapered, although care must be taken not to use solvent-based adhesives. In the case of such an application, it should of course be pointed out that the EPS panels used as a support are not very pressure-resistant. EPS insulating materials are classified in reaction to fire group E. With best regards, your M-Infoline team
