Hello Migipedia We wanted to buy our Fondue Favorit for next August 1st. Unfortunately, we couldn't find it in the store. According to the sales staff, the product is not available in summer. I think that's a shame, as a fondue on the balcony is also great in summer... When will it be available again? Thanks and best regards

Hello thomas_schwab, thank you for your feedback and for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have enough space in our stores to offer all fondue products all year round. In winter, the focus is on fondue and raclette, in summer on mozzarella, feta and grilled cheese. You will be able to find fondue items in all stores again from mid-September. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What is the maximum temperature at which this item may be stored?

The note "Protect from heat" is for me max. 20 degrees.

Has the recipe been changed? We have been enjoying this mixture for years. We bought two double packs with the current promotion. Our disappointment is all the greater today 🤨. It no longer tastes the same. In addition, an unappetizing greasy film formed. We didn't want to finish it! The lot number is 0279353 1013, the date is 30.03.2022. Can we return the unused packs?

Hello HeinzB, thank you for your message. The recipe is unchanged. The supplier has therefore checked his retained sample using the production data. There were no deviations in the fondue, neither when cold nor when boiled. However, cheese is a natural product and is subject to natural fluctuations. We will contact you by e-mail. Every fondue tastes slightly different every time, but the basic flavor remains. That is important. Either way, Moitié-Moitié is my favorite fondue

Hello, what is the exact alcohol content of this product? Are 2-year-old children allowed to eat it or can a breastfeeding mother eat it? What non-alcoholic Migros alternatives are there (ready-made mixes preferred). Thank you Pandi

Hello, Pandi05, the Swiss-Style Moitié-Moitié has an alcohol content of approx. 3.7g per 100g of cheese mass when uncooked (still in the bag). However, some of the alcohol evaporates during cooking. The longer the cooking time, the less alcohol is contained in the fondue. However, the alcohol does not evaporate as quickly as is generally assumed. After 20min. After 20 minutes of cooking, approx. 5% of the original alcohol is still present. If pregnant women or children are eating with you, we therefore recommend preparing a fresh fondue with alcohol-free cider instead of a ready-made fondue. Alcohol-free cider is an excellent and child-friendly alternative to wine. Best wishes, your M-Infoline team

Have you changed the recipe or the manufacturer? Lemon flavor too strong, too little spicy!

Edited

Hello Jupiter-01, thank you for your request. We're sorry that you didn't like the fondue. Did. We have been using the same manufacturer and the same recipe for this product for years. You are welcome to use the contact form to give us the LOT number and the best-before date so that we can check your request. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This fondue is excellent! And easy to prepare. The problem: there's too little cheese per bag (248 g). It's too much for one person, but not enough for 2! We'd need to increase the quantity so that one sachet could serve 2 people. Another comment: why is there added salt? Cheese is salty enough on its own. So much for M Génération's commitments!

Hi ospa1818,
Many thanks for your message on Migipedia.
We're delighted that you like our half and half Swiss Style fondue so much, but we're very sorry that its weight and salt content don't meet your expectations.
In principle, the product should contain 400 g per package. In the absence of item traceability data such as M-Data and batch number, it is unfortunately not possible for us to determine the exact day of production of this fondue. Our packs are dosed by volume and then passed over a belt scale. Packages not meeting the required weight are automatically discarded. We therefore fail to understand how one of our fondues could be so underweight. We sincerely apologize for this incident.
Our manufacturing process makes the addition of salt unavoidable, and salt ensures that the product has an impeccable taste. We are fully aware of the problem of over-consumption of salt, and we therefore strive to keep the salt content of our products as low as possible. It should also be noted that the salt content of this fondue is no higher than that of certain types of cheese.
We wish you all the best for a sunny day.
Best regards
Your M-Infoline team

It's a pity you didn't read the questions properly. The customer is trying to make you understand that the portion in the 400-gram pack is not big enough for 2 people, and too big for one. Normally, 400 grams of cheese are required for 2 people.

The weight of your article is 400 grams, but not 400 grams of cheese! There's wine, water and Kirsch. He suggests that you prepare packets for 2 adults, i.e. 400 grams of CHEESE plus wine and everything else, so that the guests have enough to eat! Thank you for your response with this enlightenment! Jean-Paul.

Hello Pron61, thank you for your contribution. We agree with you that 800g = 4 portions is not ideal. 800g of prepared fondue corresponds to 2 to 3 portions. Thank you very much for your comment. We'll change the instructions the next time we adapt the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I would like to purchase it

Hello
Migros sells its products exclusively in its branches scattered throughout Switzerland and in some German (Lörrach, Freiburg, Reutlingen, Ludwigshafen, Ludwigsburg) and French (Etrembières, Val Thoiry, Neydens) countries located just over the border.
Migros' aim is to offer its customers good quality products at the best value for money. Mail order, in the traditional sense, requires an infrastructure whose costs are reflected in the prices of all sales channels. That is why Migros has never engaged in such activities.
Sincerely Your M-Infoline Team
