I have been observing an increasing deterioration in the quality of this product for some time now. The last tin topped the trend. The contents were very sweet. With my eyes closed, nobody would have guessed that they were pears! I still had to remove the rest of the cores. The pears were also tough and hard.
And no Migros, I have removed the can and there is no LOR No.
Hello Muttenzer01, thank you very much for your contribution. We had to change the country of origin for this product due to harvest-related reasons and the shortage of raw materials. This has an influence on the texture and taste of the pear. As pears are a natural product, there may be variations in texture. We check the hardness and taste of the pears on receipt of the raw material and during the production process. These checks are carried out every hour using a measuring device (penetrometer), whereby a sample of five random pieces is taken. We therefore assume that the quality deviations you perceive are due to natural fluctuations. However, we have informed the supplier of your experience and will certainly keep an eye on the issue. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why have the pears been so hard and bland lately? Is that getting better again?
Hello mey81, thank you for your message. We appreciate you bringing to our attention any discrepancies that you have noticed recently. To enable us to accurately trace the manufacturing process, please send us the best-before date and the batch number (a combination of numbers and letters) of one can. Thank you in advance for your support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Sorry, I've only just seen your reply. I don't have the data to hand. But it seems to be a general issue if you take a look at the ratings, especially for the 465g version.
