Is there a delivery bottleneck for this product? The entire rack was empty 2 weeks ago. Last week too and today there was 1 pack left in the Appenzell shopping region.

Hello Magnoliapower, thank you for your inquiry. We are currently waiting for the new harvest. This explains the empty shelves. We expect to receive the replenishment in calendar week 43 (October 23). Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I managed to get hold of the last 2 bags yesterday. But the figs are extremely dark and don't look at all appetizing, what's the reason for this?

Hello Magnoliapower, can you please tell us the best-before date and the lot number? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I like these figs but mold is not really part of the agenda or I have a fig with mold in it

Hello wicki91, oh dear, of course that shouldn't be the case. We are sorry to hear that. Can you please give us the lot number and the best-before date for further clarification? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, we actually really like the figs. Lately, however, many of the fruits are wormy... full of feces, but also worms discovered, at least 1x alive... We like meat ;)but rather not like this :( Kind regards

Hello johwe, thank you for the message. The meat additive was of course not planned. Could you please let us know the best-before date and the lot number of the pack concerned? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello johwe, have you kept the pack? Our manufacturer would like to check it more closely. If it is still there, please send it to us at the following address: Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund M-Infoline / Reference 20211128-0322 Limmatstrasse 152 8031 Zurich Thank you for your help and best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello johwe, thank you for sending us the figs. We forwarded them to our specialist department. As the article has already expired, we were no longer able to examine the retained samples as a reference. We were able to detect traces of pests in the three figs sent to us. We sincerely apologize for this. Of course, this does not meet our high quality standards. We assure you that regular checks are carried out, also with regard to pests and foreign bodies. A representative sample is examined every time goods are received. The employees involved in packing are also sensitized to foreign bodies and pests. No deviations were discovered during the documentation of the incoming goods inspection. Nevertheless, we are keeping an eye on the issue. We will contact you again privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline team, I keep buying SunQueen figs, but recently I've been trying the MClassic figs, which are almost without exception very tasty. What I have also noticed so far with both products are the differences in the color of the surface of the figs, which range from light brown, which seems normal to me, to dark brown. Sometimes they are completely dark, sometimes mixed or even completely light. This is the case in practically every pack. I don't think these are bad, as you can see the differences on the cover pictures. What is the reason for these different discolorations? However, as we keep reading about the moulds that can attack the sensitive figs, I wanted to find out how to recognize these affected figs. The Alnatura information page even says that you should open every fig before eating it, which confuses me even more. What do you recommend in this regard? Thank you very much and best regards

Hello Cinderella86, thank you for your request and your patience. The different colors are an indicator that the figs have not been artificially brightened. Depending on when the figs were picked, they will be lighter or darker in color. We harvest the figs when they are fully ripe and then dry them. Fully ripe fruit is very sensitive to pressure, which can also quickly lead to darker areas, so there can always be color differences in the dried figs. Our specialists also recommend opening the figs before eating them. As figs are natural products, it can never be completely ruled out that there may be very occasional pests or mold in them. Unfortunately, the growth of fungi on food is not visible to the naked eye. This can only be detected using specific procedures. In this respect, however, we already carry out various extensive quality tests in the country of origin. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Sorry again. So do you also have raw figs in your range? FG

Hello stephead Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we do not have any dried fruit in our range that can be described as raw food. Fresh fruit has a relatively high water content (approx. 85%). To ensure that they can be dried within a reasonable time without the fruit spoiling, in most cases it is almost essential to add warm air at 60 to 80 degrees. We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a good week. Your M-Infoline team

Thank you very much for the answer regarding the dates. Are all figs only air-dried, or only those from Sun Queen? FG and have a nice day

Hello stephead Thank you for your feedback. No, not all figs are air-dried, but our M-Classic figs are. But our M-Classic figs are too. We hope this information is useful for you and wish you a nice weekend. Sunny greetings from your M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline team, as dried figs have not been available for several weeks, I would like to find out why this is the case and whether anything is already known about when (if) these figs will be back in the stores. With thanks and kind regards, maripac

I usually buy the organic figs from Migros, but this product was more of an emergency purchase because the organic ones had just run out. I must have been unlucky...the figs were quite crushed, tasted unusual and a few even had the proverbial worm in them. Nothing against natural products, but I prefer to eat meat in a different way ;-) I took a photo of the label, maybe that will tell you what went wrong...

Hello Micharius
Thank you very much for your message. You had to wait a long time for an answer - thank you for your patience.
We place very high demands on our suppliers, which are even stricter than the international standard. The figs are checked several times. Various cleaning steps, sorting and quality controls take place at the origin. The next inspection takes place after arrival at Delica. Among other things, the appearance, taste, chemical and microbiological values are examined. If there are deviations from the quality standard, the goods are not even accepted.
No deviations were found in the rejected batch, either on receipt of the goods or during production. Two figs with worms were found in the retained sample - the rest of the pack was OKThese values are well within the specification. We use mixed samples of the entire batch for our checks. However, as this is a natural product, variations from pack to pack are possible and it is therefore possible that one pack is more affected than another.
We apologize for your inconvenience and wish you a pleasant rest of the week. Your M-Infoline Team
