The origin is stated as: "Made in Greece."
This information is imprecise. I would like to know where the apricot trees are located and where the apricots were picked. Also in Greece? Many thanks for your expert advice, Ernst Tremp
Hello TrempE, thank you for your interest. In accordance with Swiss legislation, we indicate the origin of ingredients on our products if they make up 50% or more of the product (20% or more for animal ingredients) or if the packaging could suggest a different origin. We naturally comply with these requirements and the legal safety standards for all our products. In cases where no specific indication of origin can be found on the packaging, we treat the origin of the ingredients as internal information that we do not disclose publicly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your prompt reply. However, it does not address my question, but rather evades it by referring to "internal information." This reinforces my suspicion that the apricots themselves do not come from Greece, but rather—as I now increasingly suspect—from Israel, presumably even from plantations in settlements in the (contrary to international law) occupied territories of Palestine. If you are unable or unwilling to give me a clear answer, I will consider making this matter public (e.g., on the TV program "Kassensturz"). Sincerely, Ernst Tremp
Hello TrempE, thank you for your feedback. We can alleviate your concerns. The apricots come from Greece. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your reply! So my concerns were unfounded. Now I can enjoy the apricots without restriction. Kind regards, Ernst Tremp
