The image of the pistachios on the SUN QUEEN packaging no longer corresponds to what they sell. The quality has deteriorated. The pistachios are less crunchy, too soft, no longer have a "skin" and possibly less salted.

If only the pistachios were nearly as tasty as they look in this picture! The ones I bought last Saturday (item 1014.032, L0000000022, best before 29.03.2014, 14:40, Provenance Iran) are extremely soft, small, strangely yellow and simply don't taste good. What a pity!

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your disappointment and are happy to respond to your request.
After a lengthy interruption in supply during the summer, we have been offering Sun Queen shelled pistachios again since mid-September.
Due to a worldwide shortage and strong demand for shelled, salted pistachios, we had to switch to an alternative. This is slightly more intense in color (green/yellow), blanched and slightly finer in consistency, but of impeccable quality.
We hope that we will be able to procure goods of the usual quality again at the start of the new harvest (around the end of 2013/beginning of 2014) and ask for your understanding.

Have the pistachios been taken out of the range again?
There is none!
Around 40% of the harvest was damaged by the heat!

Thanks for your comment. Don't worry, the Sun Queen pistachios are still in our range.
However, we do have quality problems with the pistachios at the moment. We don't expect a new delivery until October.

Too bad, I miss the UNSALVED pistachios too! I was so happy to find unsalted nuts in Migros for once, and now they've been taken out of the range again. There are far too many salted foods, so why are they removing a very healthy nut variety? For me, this is quite incomprehensible, especially as there is far too much salt in many foods. Dear M-Infoline team, I really don't understand this!

Hello, why are the unsalted, roasted pistachios no longer available? These are used for various oriental desserts, coffee refinements, cooking recipes, etc. You can't use salted pistachios for these.
Even if it is a niche product, I was proud that you could buy them in Migros, and now you can't!
