Dear Migros team, a quick question: which country (or countries) do the nuts come from? I only found what I was looking for on the packaging in terms of production.
Hello nuferj, thank you for your question. As this nut mix contains several components, the origin of the individual nuts cannot be indicated on the packaging for technical reasons. We would ask you to provide us with the lot number of the pack you have purchased. This enables us to trace the origin. The countries of origin sometimes vary depending on the harvest situation and time of year. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello dear M-Infoline team. ↵Thank you very much for your reply. Here would be the lot number:↵L0000000195↵↵Then I am now curious 🙂↵↵Best regards
Hello nuferj, thank you for providing the lot number. We are sending you the origin of the nuts in your pack: cashews from India, almonds from the USA, pecans from South Africa, macadamias from South Africa. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline team - Thank you very much for the informative answer. I honestly did not expect to get an answer to my question at all. I am pleasantly surprised and genuinely pleased. Keep up the good work!

Is there not enough salt in Switzerland?
Hello ivan92, our supplier obtains the salt from a Swiss producer who receives his salt from Germany. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

That was not the question. Migros always claims to source everything as regionally as possible. How does imported salt from Germany fit in when there is enough Swiss salt?
Hello ivan92, the salt is purchased from Schweizer Salinen AG in Pratteln. However, they obtain the salt we need from Germany, as it is a special salt that is not available in Switzerland. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where do the table salt, sunflower oil and thickener come from?
Presumably it all comes from one supplier ;-) At the end, people still want to know where the color for the packaging film comes from.....
Hello ilsaschuhpisser, the salt comes from Germany, the thickener from South Africa. We have different countries of origin for the sunflower oil, as this varies depending on availability. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

A few days ago, this product still cost CHF 3.90. Why has the price been increased so much?
Hello guest
Thank you for your question. Due to frost damage and drought, there was a poor harvest of almonds and hazelnuts. Unfortunately, this has made the raw materials from the mix more expensive - which in turn affects the selling price. We hope you still like the product.
Best regards

Why are the new nuts (Sun Queen) no longer salted (the Excellent were super salted)?
Dear guest
Thank you for your inquiry.
In our range we have a Sun Queen nut mix (unsalted) and a Sun Queen nut mix (salted). For this reason, we assume that you actually wanted to buy the Sun Queen nut mix (salted) and got the unsalted version. We are aware that this can lead to confusion and will make changes in another packaging run to make a clear distinction.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

My favorite nuts but why are the Excellent packs so hard to open without scissors or a knife? The whole bag shreds when you tear it open. Could certainly be improved.
Hello and thank you for your feedback!
We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the packaging. We will be happy to check this with the manufacturer and find a suitable solution that makes opening easier.
Best regards

JAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! EXACTLY
More in cans (like the wasabi nuts) would be great. Would certainly also be interesting for transportation... A little more expensive in terms of costs, as the material is more valuable... However, the packaging of the Peremium line is not so bad, as it can be sealed. What I don't think works at all is the packaging of the party nut packaging. These "folds"... the pack doesn't stand up, the nuts stay inside... There is still potential. Long live the CIP.
