Hi Michi2000, thanks for the question. The information is without butter. The nutritional values refer to the dry product. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I am following on from my previous question in case others have the same experience. In the meantime, I have realized the reason for the bland taste: Since I wanted to make two portions and not four, I only poured out half the contents of the packet, tapping it against the box several times. The various ingredients (rice, mushrooms, salt and others) were obviously distributed unevenly due to their different consistencies, i.e. more than half of the salt remained in the box, the remaining contents of which later tasted rather salty. What do I learn from this? If I don't put the whole contents of the packet in the pan, I have to divide it between two cups first, switching from one to the other several times. Or put the whole contents into a container first and then remove half of it with a spoon.

Hello sirio60, thank you for your post. It may be that the contents are filled in layers during production. It may help if you shake the bag before use so that the components mix. In any case, thank you for your advice. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is it possible that the salt in this product has been reduced recently? I've been buying the risotto regularly for five or six years, but today it tasted completely bland and I actually had to add quite a bit of salt. If that were the case, it would clearly have been overdone.

Hello sirio60, thank you very much for your post. We can confirm that we have not made any changes to the recipe for this risotto. We must therefore assume that this was a one-off deviation. We hope that you will be able to enjoy the risotto as usual in future. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I really like this risotto when I'm in a hurry because it can be prepared in no time at all. However, if I have understood the calorie information (prepared) correctly, this risotto has a lot more calories than a comparable risotto from the competition. That just made me a bit suspicious...

Dear teufelchen83
Thank you very much for your message. We are delighted that you like our Subito risotto.
The energy content of Subito risotto is correct. However, you should not compare apples with pears. Our nutritional values per portion refer to 62.5g of dry product including butter, while those of the competition (Knorr) refer to 100g of prepared risotto. If we were to choose the same portion size (which in our view does not correspond to reality, as you normally eat more than 100g of this risotto), the energy content of our risotto would also be lower. If you compare the nutritional values per 100g of dry product, you will see that the nutritional values of our risottos are practically identical to those of the competition.
We hope this information will help you and wish you continued enjoyable Subito moments.
Best wishes from the M-Infoline team
