Is this a vegan bread, or is it not because of the amylase enzymes, etc.? It would be great to make this without pig bristles ((-:
Hello di-or
Our breads are generally vegan by recipe, unless they contain animal-derived ingredients such as milk, butter, honey, or eggs in the ingredient list. The stone-baked spelt bread contains no ingredients or additives of animal origin and can therefore be described as vegan. However, it has not been certified as vegan and therefore does not carry the corresponding V-label on the packaging.

Please leave out the wheat!!!! And for once, leave out the grains. A simple, pure whole-grain spelt bread would be very welcome. The bakers should finally be able to pull that off.
Hmm, that’s actually the best/most valuable part of it. Otherwise, there’s always white toast... It would be better without the pig bristles and the lard...
