Thank you for your question about the STEAM 7060 iron! The iron is equipped with a long-term descaling system ("ANTI-SCALE") so that you can use tap water (without additives) or a mixture of tap and distilled water. If the water is very calcareous, we recommend cleaning the steam chamber weekly.
Please note: Do not use battery water or additives such as perfume or tonics. These could impair the steaming properties and leave residues.
