Dear Migros, why did you kick the hazelnut Starbucks out of the range?

Thank you for your question sushi lover. Unfortunately, the hazelnut variant was not popular enough with our customers. That's why we no longer offer it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello M-Infoline team, thank you for the quick reply. However, I am somewhat surprised by this statement, as the ingredients are also declared differently, e.g. only 1.4g fat (instead of 1.6g) and 2.7g protein (instead of 2.8g) as well as less sugar etc. As I noticed the difference in taste, I compared this and it was clear to me that something had apparently been changed. Less sugar and fat etc. is a good thing and therefore I understand such changes in principle. I just think it's a shame because I don't like the taste of the product any more. But you can never satisfy everyone's tastes anyway :) Best regards, faksa

Hello faksa, thank you very much for your feedback on the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. You are right, please excuse our first response. We have removed the mono- and diglycerides of vegetable origin. The difference in the nutritional values is only noticeable to the senses and is also due to the rounding off in the nutrition calculator. Milk is still the main source of fat and protein in the product. The percentage of milk and fat is identical to the previous recipe. However, we have switched to a natural caramel flavor, which is noticeable in the taste. This taste was very well received by the test persons, so we decided to take this measure. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Why is this version no longer available to buy? This coffee has been replaced and the new one tastes far too artificial to me....

Hoi faksa, I'm sorry that you no longer like this macchiato. We have only changed the packaging, the recipe is the same. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Mono- and diglycerides vegetable or animal?

Hoi Kingofthecourt, the mono- and diglycerides are plant-based. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team Your M-Infoline Team

have a question does the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato make you fat?

Sali gastmigros, thank you for your question, which can't really be answered in this way. A single product does not determine whether you gain or lose weight. The decisive factor is your calorie balance and your diet as a whole. Every product, if consumed in excess, contributes to an unbalanced, one-sided and therefore unhealthy diet. We hope this information helps you and send you our best regards, your M-Infoline team

How about if at least the prices on the shelf were right? They are still marked at 1.95, but cost 2.20. (MM Baden, today and M Fislisbach last week). Very weak dear Migros!!!

Dear guest
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We understand your displeasure and apologize for it. We will forward your message to the relevant department for clarification.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Thank you for your feedback regarding the incorrect price address for the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato in the Baden-City and Fislisbach stores.
We apologize for this error. We have of course forwarded your report to our store managers. In the meantime, the error has been rectified in both stores and the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato is now displayed on the shelf with the correct price.
Thank you very much for your tip and we hope you continue to enjoy your Caramel Macchiato. Your M-Infoline Team

With the fact that the prices are now only written on the shelf, Migros has moved VERY OFF and onto the level of the cheap retailer à la Aldi and co! Only the products are getting more and more expensive! The price increases cannot be justified by inflation, just as little as rising raw material prices, because the quality continues to decline, especially with vegetables and co... It's just greed on the part of the management, I'd love to be CEO of Migros - only Dutti would be turning in his grave!

Cheeky to simply raise the prices from 1.95 to 2.20!!!

Guest

Anyone with that much understanding must work for Migros. Can't believe the milk price has risen so much. M will probably take a big slice.
Great, looking forward to a promotion that means the old normal price?

Dear guest
Thank you for your comment.
We regret that you do not agree with the new price. The reason for the price adjustment is indeed the increase in general raw material prices and also the EU milk price. Nevertheless, we are still the cheapest supplier in the country.
Kind regards

In my opinion, the best cold coffee in Migros! But unfortunately, the price-performance ratio for consumers has recently changed for the worse: In the old year, the price was still 1.95, and now they suddenly cost 2.20! And this has happened "silently" without any major communication. I personally find a price increase of over 12.5% (sorry) to put it bluntly a cheek and outrageous, and I would like to know how Migros (or Starbucks) justifies this. I will only buy them when they are on offer - I just feel sorry for all the "addicts" who will feel it directly in their wallets!

Dear guest
Thank you for your interest.
We are sorry that you do not agree with the new price. Both the general raw material prices and the EU milk price have increased since the beginning of the year. However, we are still the cheapest supplier of this product in Switzerland.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline
Migros is probably just annoyed that Coop raised the price (after the first advertising battle) and Migros stayed at 1.95.
If the prices of raw materials have increased so massively, why doesn't Coop increase the price of coffee?
Another cheap answer to take even more money out of customers' pockets.
Anyway, I'll do without coffee altogether in future.

Guest

Exactly, that's the confirmation. If coop now buys through Arla and can charge 2.30, then Migros can also charge 2.20...

Guest

Coop has even reduced the price to 2.25...

Guest

is more expensive than Migros

It's a shame something like this has to be imported from Denmark.

Hello Patrick Schnyder
Thank you for your comment.
The fact is that Starbucks Discoveries are marketed in Europe by a processor in Denmark. This also includes the license for Switzerland. For this reason, the product is manufactured abroad. We are aware that the ecological balance is not optimal due to the great distance. We will therefore examine whether it is possible to relocate the production of Starbucks Discoveries to Switzerland in the medium to long term and thus use Swiss milk.
Migros wishes you a pleasant weekend.
