Why is the straw now made of paper and not plastic like it used to be? The paper is very unpleasant in the mouth and becomes soft and soggy after a short time... This has a negative effect on the fine taste of the coffee!

Hello M-I-G-R-O-S↵↵Willhave to do with the preparation for the ban on single-use plastic in the EU from 2021 👍 ↵↵Best regards↵ Frederica

Hi M-I-G-R-O-S, thank you for your input. The switch from plastic to paper tubes for Starbucks Chilled Classics cups is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce waste and fulfill our global commitment to eliminate plastic tubes. Starbucks has tested various options to ensure they meet our quality standards. The results of consumer testing have shown very positive results. We are all the more sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the paper tubes. We are very sorry about this and would like to thank you for your valuable input, which we will be happy to pass on internally. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this product contain gluten?(starbucks max havelaar cappuccino) Thank you

Hi Spk, The Starbucks Cappuccino Max Havelaar item (item number 204551700000) does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients and neither do any gluten traces. If a product's ingredients contain gluten, this should be openly stated by indicating the grains containing gluten (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). So: always read the ingredient list! If there is a possibility that traces of gluten may be present as a result of any contamination that may have occurred during the manufacturing process, it is mandatory to include such a warning ("May contain gluten" or "May contain traces of gluten") at the end of the ingredient list. Best regards, dein M-Infoline Team
