the starbucks company pays no or only minimal taxes. in this sense, it smilingly gives the common people (or taxpayers) the middle finger.
what is the position of the migros cooperative on this issue...?
(and what would hett duttweiler - god rest his soul - say? would he have included these products in his range?)
Dear guest
Thank you for your contribution.
For Migros, quality and the wishes of our customers are paramount. For this reason, we have included Starbucks mixed milk drinks in our range.
It is also important to us that our suppliers adhere to high quality standards in production and logistics. We do not have detailed knowledge of our suppliers' business management issues (such as tax invoices) and are therefore unable to comment on them.
We wish you a happy week.
See you soon in your Migros.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

It's a shame that this premium product has to be made with milk from Danish cows. We probably have enough milk here in Switzerland.

Hello moccetti
Thank you for your message.
We understand your concern about importing milk from Denmark. The fact is that Starbucks Discoveries are marketed in Europe by a processor in Denmark. This also includes the license for Switzerland. For this reason, the product is manufactured abroad.
We are aware that the ecological balance is not optimal due to the great distance. We will therefore examine whether it is possible to relocate the production of Starbucks Discoveries to Switzerland in the medium to long term and thus use Swiss milk.
We hope that our reply has provided you with sufficient information and wish you a pleasant evening.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
