Hello Bie. In future, Migros will be offering 6,000 tons of organic fruit and vegetables for open sale, twice as much as before. We started with peaches, kiwis and grapes. Over the course of the year, other products such as red peppers, pumpkin, persimmon, celeriac and eggplants followed. We monitor shelf life and freshness closely and take customer feedback into account. If our findings are positive, these products remain on sale. Migros cooperatives are also constantly examining whether it is feasible and ecologically sensible to expand open sales outside of the organic range. I was just in Gäuggeli-Migros and wanted to buy some celery stalks. The store staff told me that they had run out. Will they be back soon? I really hope so, especially organic would be good!
