Well, bananas from Colombia are no better.
I'm mainly interested in seasonal produce. And asparagus is definitely not in season yet, we're well into winter.
Well, as indios wrote, it's about the season, strawberries, fresh asparagus, of course, what are such products doing in the winter? We have to import bananas all year round. Bananas just don't grow in Switzerland.
