Hello Migros. As other buyers have already noted: 8 is an impractical pack size - too much for a couple, too little for a small family (but 2 packs are clearly too much), at best suitable for a family with 2 teenagers 😉 a 6-pack would be perfect and would reduce food waste for most settings. Would that be worth a try?

Hello Waissnix, thank you very much for your input. We are happy to take your request on board and have informed the relevant specialist department. However, we cannot promise you that this adjustment can be made. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline Thank you for your reply. Great if the ingredients have changed. But then please take a look at the list of ingredients in the LeShop, adjust and revise it. It's still there with E920 and the palm oils..... Thank you. Ingredients in the LeShop are declared as follows: Wheat flour, water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, stabilizer (E422), table salt, dextrose, raising agents (E341, E450, E500), emulsifier (E471), preservative (E202), flour treatment agent (E920).

Hi Hase, thanks for the tip. LeShop is an independent company that offers many Migros products, among others. Please contact LeShop directly so that the correction can be made: https://www.leshop.ch/files/help/de/contact.html. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

You say the fajitas are vegan. What about the E number 920 contained in the product? And do the fajitas contain palm oil? It just says vegetable oil... And are so many E numbers really needed? Thank you very much for your answers.
Hello Hase Unfortunately, we can't understand where you got your information from. The product does not contain E 920, nor is "vegetable oil" declared in the list of ingredients. The current list of ingredients is as follows: Wheat flour, water, stabilizer: glycerol (= E 422), sunflower oil, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (= E 471), dextrose, raising agent: sodium hydrogen carbonate (= E 500), disodium diphosphate (= E 450), table salt. The tortillas do not contain any ingredients or additives of animal origin. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

The term "hardened vegetable oil" is no longer permitted. Please change at Migipedia and LeShop!

Are these tortillas vegan? And is it possible that the recipe has been changed?
Hello lovely_98 Thank you for your interest. You had to wait a long time for an answer - thank you for your patience. We are happy to confirm that the tortillas are vegan. We have not made any changes to the recipe. If you have a reason for complaint, please let us know what exactly is wrong. We also need the batch number and best-before date for further clarification. Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Do I need to keep the tortillas in a special place? I thought not, as they are not on the refrigerated shelf at Migros. It has happened to me several times that tortillas that I keep at home for a month or longer are infested with horrible mold.

Hoi GaGuSi Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you were not able to enjoy our tortillas and we apologize. Pancho Villa's soft tortillas are packed in a so-called "modified atmosphere". This special gas mixture prevents mold growth and ensures shelf life. We suspect that the modified atmosphere has been breached in your packaging. This may have been caused, for example, by an imperfect weld seam or (possibly very minor) damage to the packaging. As a result of this opening, oxygen and mold spores can penetrate and lead to the observed mold growth. We have examined our retained samples. No deviation from the quality standard was found. As we have not received any further feedback, we assume that the quality was inadequate on a one-off basis. Together with our supplier, we will tighten our controls and also inform the stores to be careful when putting the products on the shelves and to take care not to damage any packaging. We hope for your understanding and wish you a wonderful Advent season. Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

As was noted here more than a year ago: the things stick together so much that you can no longer get them apart properly.
That wasn't the case before. I have now switched to "Old El Paso"...

Dear guest
Thank you for your comment. Both we and the supplier are aware of the problem. However, it generally exists with tortillas - even with the other brands.
The tortillas stick together due to the irregular cooling time. If this is too short, they stick together. However, we are already working on preventing this in the future.
Kind regards
Your M-Infoline Team

Are the additives E422 (glycerine) and E471 (fatty acids) in this product of vegetable origin?
Dear guest
Thank you for your question and your interest in our products
According to our supplier, the glycerine and fatty acids are of vegetable origin and no other additives or carriers of animal origin are used in the production process.
We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a pleasant afternoon.
See you soon in your Migros! Your M-Infoline Team

I don't think a resealable pack is possible, as this packaging has been fumigated. So here, too, the terrible protective atmosphere takes hold. Opened packaging should therefore be consumed very quickly, as the decomposition takes effect immediately after opening.
But this is probably what the customer wants. (Migros saying no. 1)

Hello guest
In order to guarantee a certain best-before date, packaging in a protective atmosphere is necessary. This is the only way to guarantee the desired quality until at least the best-before date at room temperature and to prevent natural mold growth. For this reason, the product can only be stored for a few days after opening, as the modified atmosphere has been interrupted.
In this case, resealable packaging has no effect on the shelf life.
After opening, we therefore recommend resealing the opened packaging, storing it in the refrigerator and consuming it within three days.

We always freeze the opened packaging, so they will keep for at least 1 month! Defrost for approx. 30 minutes before use, microwave briefly and you're done!
