I bought this product today and it had no foil on it? Is this new or did I buy an opened product? 😶

Hello RandyTester, thank you for your question. Can you tell us the best-before date and the adjacent production number of your packaging? Then we can check the production concerned. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I was a big fan of Soft-ICE Caramel. Unfortunately, this product has been taken out of the range. The Mövenpick caramel ice cream is not bad. But it can't be compared. What is the reason that this product has been taken out of the range? It can't be because of sales. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello MKunde, thank you for your contribution. We still have this Soft Ice in our range. Where did you look for it? Perhaps it was sold out at the time of your visit. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately I miss the variety with mango, is this no longer available?

Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in our Soft-Ice range.
Due to dwindling demand, we removed Soft-Ice Mango from our range at the beginning of 2012.
We hope you find a suitable alternative and wish you a relaxing weekend.
Sunny greetings from the M-Infoline team

The ice cream tastes good, the spoon is sufficient, I can't say anything about the price. What bothered me the most, and that's why I'm writing here, is the plastic packaging, which has a pungent smell. At the bottom is the recycling code 6 / PS which stands for polystyrene. That's why the smell is similar to that of foam. The plastic lid and the spoon smell only slightly or not at all. I just think it's a shame when such odors spoil the ice cream. It would be nice if the smell were neutralized during production or even better if they switched to PET altogether.

Hello guest
Can you give us the M-Data's or the LOT number? The LOT number starts with an L or is a mixture of numbers and letters. You can find the information on the cup.
The specialist department can use this information to check the retained samples.

Unfortunately, I threw the packaging away on the same day. So I went back to the same store today and bought the ice cream again. Ice was good again but the plastic packaging smelled again. The LOT no. of the packaging is L0050. Can I assume that you will publish the conclusions of the specialist department here on Migipedia?

Hello guest
Thank you for your feedback and your patience. The clarifications took some time.
We have passed on your observations to the supplier and he was able to determine that the cups had a strong foreign odor, but the ice cream is flawless.
Our supplier's cup manufacturer has also already carried out investigations, but unfortunately the cause of this foreign odor has not yet been identified. As an immediate measure, "PS Natur" cups will be produced for the next production run of our soft ice cream. These will be in stores from around the beginning of July.
We would like to thank you for your information and attention and hope that you will soon be able to enjoy Soft Ice again.

Tip: Ask for an extra spoon at the checkout or sometimes after the checkout, the spoon doesn't break but it still doesn't reach the bottom.
