Isn't GRENADINE actually pomegranate? I'm confused by the fact that the label shows various berries, but no pomegranate...
Hi Ptichka, thank you for contacting us with your question. We are happy to provide you with the following information:
Originally, grenadine was made from the juice of pomegranates, sugar and water. This is where the name comes from. Today, very different products are available under the name grenadine. These differ greatly in terms of taste and quality.
Nowadays, grenadine syrup basically refers to syrup made from various red fruits. To clearly indicate this fact, we therefore print the different fruits it contains on the label.
We have, of course, submitted your honest feedback regarding the product name to the relevant authorities.
We hope this information is helpful to you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the product vegan? Or is it or ingredients clarified with gelatine?
Hello Foodle, thank you for your inquiry. Our grenadine syrup is already vegan but not yet certified with the V-Label. However, we will have the product certified next year. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good evening I would like to make the syrup from my own berries. Is there a recipe for this or what is the ratio of berries to each other? I think the blackcurrants are rather dominant in taste.

Hello Cypress4, thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, we cannot provide the exact recipe. On the list of ingredients, you will find the ingredients listed from the highest to the lowest value. At https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/sirup-mit -beeren, these values are also listed as a percentage, which may help you when making the syrup. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, why is this standard syrup no longer available?
Hoi pbr Thank you for your comment - we are very pleased about your interest. Grenadine syrup is still in our range. Due to the low demand in German-speaking Switzerland, it is only available in the largest Migros stores. If you tell us your shopping region, we can recommend a store to you. However, you can also check availability yourself on the right-hand side of this page. Have a nice day! Best wishes from the M-Infoline team

On almost all other Migros syrups, the percentage of fruit is indicated on the label. Is it also 30%?
All syrups marked "with 30% fruit juice" on the packaging contain 30% fruit juice. All other syrups, including grenadine syrup, contain less than 30% fruit juice, hence the absence of this notice. The grenadine syrups available on the market are made with flavorings. Our grenadine syrup has a fruit content of 1.5%. We hope you find this information useful, and hope you enjoy our syrups. Best regards Your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately for my children Meret (3) and Anouk (2.5), this syrup is no longer available in the Zurich Oerlikon branch. We have to go to the Glatt center, they tell us.

Hello guest
Thank you very much for your comment. We're delighted that your children like the grenadine syrup so much!
It's true that the syrup is only available in larger Migros Cooperative stores in Zurich, but you can also find it near you in Migros MMM Glatt and Migros MM am Limmatplatz, for example.
Have a good time and best wishes from the M-Infoline team

One of my absolute favorite products! I have been buying this syrup (or its predecessor) regularly for more than 10 years and used it to spice up the Ice Tea Classic powder - which was enjoyed by young and old alike. Unfortunately, it has now been unavailable for weeks (if not months) in our nearest Migros (MM) store. The nearby VOI branch no longer stocks it either. At first the shelf space was empty and a note said *backorder*. At some point, the space was filled elsewhere. When an article about this syrup appeared in M magazine a few weeks ago, I thought that it was probably available again. But unfortunately the syrup was still not for sale... Then, 10 days ago, I made an exceptional purchase in an MMM - et voilà: they have the grenadine syrup! I happily made my way to the MM store and the VOI store last week. But no, the syrup is still not available there! What a shame :-(...

the best grenadine syrup I know. But the design on the label doesn't match my idea of grenadine. In fact, when the packaging was changed a few weeks ago, I had great difficulty finding it on the shelf, as did the sales assistant who tried to help me...
Are there really fruit flavors in grenadine?
