Hello,
How should I use the color and fixative with the machine? Should I put them together or do like the detergent and fabric softener first one and then the other? And if the clothes can't be washed with more than 40° can it still be done?
Hi AlessiaDonatella, thank you for your question. We will gladly explain how to properly use the Simplicol expert textile color and fixative. The color and the fixative are used one after the other, not at the same time. Here is the procedure:
Coloring:
- Place the textiles in the washing machine, making sure there is enough room.
- Open the bag of Simplicol expert textile color and place it directly on the laundry in the drum.
- Select a 60° C program without prewash (if possible, activate the Water plus button).
Fixing:
After staining, pour the liquid fixative into the softener compartment and start a 60° C program again.
If your clothes cannot be washed at a temperature above 40° C, the coloring result may be less intense. For delicate materials, such as wool or silk, there are special processes we can recommend. Take a look at the suggestions on the Simplicol page(https://www.simplicol.de/en/all-about-dyeing/).
Important: For silk, add another 750 ml of vinegar to the detergent compartment to protect the material. Best regards, Your M-Infoline Team

Do I need to add a color fixative afterwards?

Hello, I wanted to ask if you could also dye clothes that are not made of cotton with it, even if the result is not 100 good?
Hello jilly087, thank you for your inquiry. The textile dye is suitable for wool (except cashmere, mohair and angora) and silk. It can also be used to dye materials such as cotton, viscose and linen. Please note that the coloration is lighter with mixed fabrics (maximum 50% polyester / polyamide / polyacrylic). Furthermore, the desired shade is only achieved with white fabrics. Mixed colors may occur with fabrics of other colors. We hope this information helps you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
