Where do these excellent tomatoes come from and how are they cultivated?
Hello Conqui I don't know where the Selection Merinda comes from 🤷🏻♀️Merinda is an old traditional tomato from Sicily with an unmistakable taste. It certainly has something to do with the salty water, which makes the tomato robust. The fleshy tomato with few seeds is expensive as the yield is small. In figures: three to four kilograms per plant instead of 15 🍅 Best regardsFrederica
Hello Frederica - Thank you very much for your explanation.
Hello Conqui, thank you for your interesting question. The tomatoes come from the southernmost part of Sicily. The soil culture there has a particularly high salt content, which only occurs in this region. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
