Dear Migros How can it be that barn eggs are still being used in a supposedly high-quality product? Unfortunately, I only noticed this after buying the product. I am very disappointed!
Hello mamueka, thank you for your message. For Migros products with eggs, the minimum requirement is that the eggs come from barn farming. This is also the case with the Sélection product. We understand that a Sélection product should contain "premium eggs". Unfortunately, this is not always possible, as we often cannot find suppliers who specifically produce such tailor-made recipes. For this reason, it is currently not feasible for this brand to produce the items with free-range eggs. However, we are still working on this issue and part of our national egg range has recently been made exclusively from free-range eggs. We are currently in the process of converting other products. For the time being, however, industrially produced items in Migros are still produced using barn eggs. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
