Complex flavor. Garlic with earthy umami notes, excellent in risottos, herb butter, sauces, soups, etc.
Cheaper than the competition and good quality. Very healthy.

Anyone expecting a crunchy bulb like white garlic will be disappointed, just like I was when I first bought it. Black garlic is soft and shriveled, as can be seen on the packet, but has an excellent taste. A sticker with this information on the packaging would be very useful.

Totally dried out. I've never had such puny black garlic. Hardly peelable. I no longer buy black garlic from Migros selection.
I really liked it. It eats almost like a treat.
