we had this ice cream for the first time today at a friend's house. the ice cream was fine, but had nothing to do with vanilla. it tasted more like white chocolate and the typical black vanilla dots were also missing. we simply question the expensive and exquisite presentation, as the contents did not correspond to what was pictured. a pity.
Hello papaya13, we are very sorry that our Sélection Glacé has given you cause for complaint. So that we can trace the production, we would ask you to provide us with the best-before date and the lot number (begins with L and consists of letters and numbers). For now, we wish you a nice day. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
hello. thanks for the feedback. MHD 31.01.25 and the lot number L3303 30 17:22.
Hello papaya13, thank you very much for your review. We are sorry that you missed the vanilla flavor in this ice cream. It consists of just five ingredients and no flavorings or additives are used. This should give it a subtle but not very spicy vanilla flavor. As we use whole ground vanilla pods and not just the seeds, the black spots mentioned above are a little less noticeable. The taste of white chocolate indicates a so-called "light damage". It is possible that your ice cream bucket was in the freezer next to the lighting in the store. We will be happy to contact you directly by e-mail. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is this ice cream also suitable for people with coeliac disease?
Hello Ebemaj-63, the Sélection Pure Vanilla Bourbon cream ice cream does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. If a product contains ingredients containing gluten, this must be openly declared, stating the cereals containing gluten (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). In addition, gluten-containing ingredients must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thanks for the information

When are you bringing back the Sélection Salted Caramelglacé? That was by far the best of the line.
Hi Fischbo, I'm glad you like the salted caramel glacé! This is a seasonal product. The relevant specialist department is checking whether we will be offering it again next season. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello! As the ingredients are natural and no E etc and preservatives, what is the shelf life? Homemade ice cream doesn't keep for more than a month.... THANK YOU
Hello jvondach, the minimum durability date is always indicated on the packaging. In order to guarantee the shelf life until the date indicated, the ice cream must be stored at a minimum temperature of -18°C. Best regards, your M-Infoline team.

Hello, I would like to know where the raw materials (cream, milk and eggs) come from. Thank you in advance!
Hi DidiLaFouine, Thank you very much for your inquiry. With the exception of the vanilla beans, all the ingredients used come from Switzerland. We hope this information will be useful to you and wish you all the best. Best regards. Your M-Infoline team
