Is the honey heated or pasteurized during the production of this product - whether in Ukraine or in Switzerland?
Hello 123charles, our honey comes from Greece - where it is traditionally extracted in the pine forests. This means that it does not come from Ukraine. In addition, the honey is only gently heated during bottling to make it easier to bottle. It is not pasteurized. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Are you serious? The website explicitly states that the honey comes from Ukraine. There's even another question asking about its origin, and you said it's from Ukraine. Could I please know the temperature used? To what degree is it heated?
Hello 123charles, Thank you for your reply. The honey does indeed come from Ukraine. We're sorry that there was a misunderstanding in our previous communication. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to set the record straight!
Our honey is merely warmed gently for bottling. It is not pasteurised. Processing is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Swiss Association of Food Inspectors (AFO), which prohibit the pasteurisation of honey in Switzerland. This ensures that the natural properties of honey are preserved as far as possible.
In addition, for internal company reasons, we don't communicate specific production parameters such as the exact temperature. However, we assure you that we take the utmost care during processing and comply with all the legal requirements. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
