We like it very much. For years. It also reminds me a lot of the homemade Dresdener Stollen made by a good friend from Thuringia.

Well-intentioned in terms of price, but not the original Dresden recipe, with twice as many ingredients as really necessary!
As a Swiss imitation, very probably produced by JoWa, only just acceptable for local workplaces.

Even 23% butter doesn't help. Musty, bad mouthfeel, too sweet, too sticky. It's my own fault - didn't want to wait for the Dresdener Stollen from Globus. Never again!
Bitter disappointment for a CHF 10.90 Christmas stollen! Bitter raisins, slightly rancid-tasting clarified butter and a greasy dough.
Doesn't taste like Christmas stollen at all. Strange taste, a far cry from good Christmas stollen.

Very dark inside and not at all like the picture on the packaging. Unfortunately, I bit on a nutshell. I hadn't expected that, so the dentist will be all the happier tomorrow.
