Hello "Madagascar 100% Cacao" has been removed from the range in Zollikofen. I was also informed by an employee that this chocolate could possibly fall victim to the expansion of the range with branded products (Blendwerk). Is this true?
Hello SergeStauffer There are two main reasons for the adjustments in our stores: On the one hand, we are concerned about better organization on our shelves and are reducing those offers that are too similar. We want to create more clarity and organization on our shelves. On the other hand, we are introducing new formats and articles that are in high demand in our stores. To enable us to introduce and further expand new offers in the supermarket, we are reducing those product ranges whose demand has declined. Unfortunately, your product has been reclassified due to the reduction in space, but is still available. The Bremgarten BE, Münchenbuchsee, Shoppyland and Ittigen stores will continue to stock the item and are the closest to Zollikofen. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

First of all, the chocolate is absolutely amazing. But when I go to check availability and it tells me where it's available in Winterthur, I go to Pfungen and then to Neuwiesen and it's not there, the super fine chocolate. It really annoys me, I need my dessert

Does Kako really come from Madagascar or is it just a "brand name"? And if it comes from Madagascar, why is it not CLEARLY declared on the packaging?
Hello Fairtrader Thank you for your inquiry. 85% of the chocolate is made from cocoa mass and 15% from cocoa butter. The cocoa mass is made from cocoa beans from Madagascar, the cocoa butter consists of beans from West Africa. As the space on the packaging is very limited and the law does not stipulate that the origin of the ingredients must be indicated, we do not do so. We wish you continued enjoyment! I found what I was looking for and with every bar I enjoy the chocolate more :-) There's really nothing sweet about it, the taste is somewhere between sour and bitter. It's a great experience to enjoy such pure chocolate!
