1 question

Does the original Schweppes tonic sweetened only with sugar still exist, or has Schweppes completely replaced it with the sweetener crap? Does anyone know?

Hi Debonnaire, thank you for your inquiry. We currently only offer this version. The supplier has reduced the sugar content in all classic Schweppes. As a result, there is no longer a "full sugar" version - this is in line with current health trends and the company's strategy to offer consumers healthier drinks.

In the revised Schweppes tonic formula, the sugar content has been reduced by 50%. The supplier's mission is to offer all variants with a low calorie content (max. 4.5 g/100 ml).

The tonic taste has also been intensified. This means that the flavors have been rebalanced to compensate for the reduction in sugar content. The supplier has retained the high level of carbonation that characterizes Schweppes. We hope this information is helpful to you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Yes, it's a good excuse. But if many people don't like it, many people don't like it.

Why not reduce the sugar content by 50% WITHOUT adding the palate-pleasing taste? In any case, I won't be buying any more! Yuck!!! 🤮🤮🤮
