Black Forest gateau with cherries - well... Not comparable to a homemade one. Quite artificial in taste. Bought in the evening with a 40% discount because it was close to its expiration date - just okay for that, but not convincing on a regular basis.
cherchez la crème....there's less and less of it and it's a shame I miss the black forest of the 2000s.
The cookie is so tender and the cream so smooth, my palate loves it.
