The ham was far too dry in the water. Since I have a steamer, I will try the second ham in the steamer. I assume at 100° 100% humidity ??? and for how long ? What do you suggest?

Hello trainee, thank you for your message and the question. In our experience, 90°C is sufficient, 100% humidity is fine. The time varies depending on the size: Approx. 8-10 min./100g. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello dear Migros :-) We had rolled ham for dinner today. Under the net the skin of the rolled ham was like plastic, I had to peel off the skin. Is that intentional?

Hello Rollschinkli-, thank you for your feedback. The Rollschinkli are placed in an edible collagen casing so that the net does not stick to the ham. This collagen casing is comparable to that of a poultry sausage, but should of course be less noticeable. We have never noticed this during our regular internal inspections. Migros is obviously not yet aware that there are customers who have a steamer. Your preparation instructions do not mention preparation in a steamer at all. Is Migros also going down the CS route?
