1 question
Hello Migros team,
I hope you are all well!
I would be particularly interested to know whether the emulsifiers E471 and E472 come from plant or animal sources. And do the flavorings or other ingredients contain alcohol, pork or parts of animals not slaughtered according to Islamic regulations?
Your answer would be really helpful for me and others who have special dietary requirements.
Thank you very much for your efforts!
Kind regards
Hello lSpongebobl, thank you for your inquiry. We are delighted that you are interested in our chocolate mini cakes. Our baked goods manufacturer, the Fresh Food & Beverage Group (formerly JOWA), is part of Migros Industrie and is therefore committed to the high Migros standards. Vegetable fats and oils or butter are used in the production of baked goods. Emulsifiers such as E471, E472 or E475, which we use in the production of our baked goods, are always of vegetable origin. Any ingredients that could come from an animal are listed on the list of ingredients: The names are then as follows, for example: Pork, bacon, ham, crackling or pork gelatine. This is not the case with the cakes. The flavors contain alcohol as a carrier. We hope this information is helpful for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
