Hello Interesting question asked by "Strohfeuer" on 26.11.2021. I use these eye drops regularly. I have such a bottle in front of me right now, as well as the bottle from batch 21C033 sent to me by Strohfeuer. I still have a little left in the bottle, but it is almost impossible to use it because the bottle is simply completely compressed. This bottle must be squeezed far too hard. Nobody uses more than 2-3 drops at a time, and it would be enough if a bottle could be squeezed by the volume of about 3 drops. After that, it would always have to return to its round and stable shape. In my opinion, the very short outlet opening is also not conducive. You almost have to contort yourself to get the drops into the eye. I used to use Systane Ultra eye drops. I didn't have these problems, but unfortunately these drops are far too expensive. If only the bottle of sanactiv was like that of systane!!!
I've also had it, simply widen the hole at the top a little with a güfeli or a safety pin, then air comes in and it drips again
I've already done the same thing with the güfeli. But it can't be that you have to do that or it shows (all of us) that these bottles are not ideal.
Hello nussbih, thank you very much for your comments. Please accept our apologies for the long wait. We are sorry that the bottles of Sanactiv eye drops are the reason for a complaint. The specialist department has informed us that it is now using your feedback to make enquiries with the manufacturer in order to optimize the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you M-Infoline team. I can send you my last bottle or a photo of it. This bottle was extreme, it is so flattened, I can't even use the last of the drops. Greetings
Hello nussbih, thank you very much for your feedback. We appreciate your help in clarifying the matter and are happy to accept your offer. Please send us the bottle to the following address or hand it in free of charge to a Migros branch customer service: Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund M-Infoline / Reference 20220222-1030 Limmatstrasse 152 8031 Zurich Note your reference 20220222-1030 on the envelope. This makes it easier for us to match the sample to the request. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello nussbih, thank you for sending in the two vials. Our specialist department will now look at them with the supplier - thank you for your commitment. We will contact you privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline Team A year passes quickly, but it is at least long enough to address the problem with the eye drop bottles that are not stable enough and possibly to confirm that there is a problem and that you are trying to solve it. So far, nothing has happened: once a bottle is half empty, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain the bottle's shape stability. I am seriously considering using other drops until this problem is solved. But how do I find out that there is an improved bottle?
Hello nussbih, thank you for asking again. According to the information provided by our manufacturer, they use a standard application system. This is suitable for preservative-free eye drops. Changing to a different bottle would change the quality of the eye drops (with preservatives). As this is a certified medical product, we cannot make changes to the packaging at short notice. This is due to the fact that the application systems for medical products must also be documented and tested by various bodies and certification authorities. We have now contacted our supplier and manufacturer again and pointed out the urgency of the problem. We will contact you again as soon as we have feedback on this. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello nussbih, the clarifications with the manufacturer are still ongoing. We will get back to you as soon as we receive a response. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello nussbih, unfortunately our supplier has not yet been able to find a solution with the manufacturer. We are continuing to monitor the issue, but are currently unable to provide any information on the date of the changeover. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Could it be that the bottle has to be squeezed (squeezed) much harder ("to the point of no return") than with the usual eye drops in order for a drop to come out at all? In any case, the bottle is much softer than usual. There is no indication of this on the package insert. If my assumption is correct, I could improve my rating by one star 👍.
Hello Strohfeuer, thank you for your message. We would like to examine your bottle to see if there is a production fault. Could you therefore make it available to us? Please write the following address on the package and hand it in at the post office or free of charge to your branch's customer service: Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund M-Infoline / Reference 20211126-0168 Limmatstrasse 152 8031 Zurich Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello Strohfeuer, thank you for sending the sample. Since November 2018, the so-called "soft bottles" have been in use, which are much easier to press. We also used the "soft bottles" for the batch 21C033 you sent us. Due to the three-year shelf life, we assume that you were still using the bottles with the harder plastic. We hope that using the droplets is now a little easier for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I have tried the product again. Charge 21K076 is clearly a "soft bottle" like the one I used a year ago (returned); I never had a harder version, as you suspected at the time. Even now I have to squeeze until I can't squeeze any more to get a drop out at all. And it's a long time coming (~10 seconds); my hand is already starting to shake! What's more, the bottle is difficult to position over the eye because the outlet opening is not visible. The bottle is simply a curse! The drops, on the other hand, are good. Compared to pharmacy products (e.g. Systane Balance CHF 25.30), the price is reasonable. It's a pity that nothing has been "optimized" in recent months.
Hello Strohfeuer, thank you for your open words about the Sanactiv eye drops. We have forwarded your feedback to our specialist department. We will look into the option of an alternative product with comparable performance in a different packaging in the future. Unfortunately, there are currently no other bottles available. However, the issue is still on our agenda. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, unfortunately I can't find any information about the ingredients on your homepage. I am particularly interested in the hyaluronic acid content. Kind regards Madeleine Lüchinger
Hello MadeleineLuechinger, the composition is as follows: Active substance: provitamin B5 2 %, hydroxypropyl cellulose 0.5 %. The ampoules do not contain any preservatives. The eye drops do not contain hyaluronic acid, but the active ingredient provitamin B5 and hydroxypropyl cellulose as artificial tear fluid. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello, but the packaging says Hyaluron....?+ Kind regards. Madeleine Lüchinger
Hello MadeleineLuechinger, please excuse the misunderstanding. We mistakenly assumed the monodoses. Enclosed is the correct composition. 1 ml of the product contains: Sodium hyaluronate 0.15 %, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid and water for injection. Kind regards, your M-Infoline Team

I noticed at home that the bottle had already been opened. I returned it because of the risk of infection and its limited shelf life. My tip: Medical products and their packaging should be secured with a clear seal. This is mandatory in a self-service store.
Hello Medii, thank you for your comment. We have forwarded this to the supplier. In future, we will affix a seal to the packaging to avoid such cases. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Grüezi, do the Sanactiv eye drops contain preservatives? Thank you for your answer
Hello vonkamakura, thank you for your post. The eye drops in the hygienic drip system are free from preservatives and are also suitable for contact lens wearers. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
