5 questions

why are there no larger packages? 500ml as there used to be?

The question has already been asked several times, Migros answer, space on the shelf is limited for every desired size, not enough sales, etc.

Hello paulsschreinerei, unfortunately the larger version of this item was not so popular. For this reason, we no longer offer this size. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why sugar? Please do your bit against the over-sugaring of society. If you want to cook simply but healthily, you shouldn't have to eat hidden sugar. And if you want a sweeter sauce, you can add sugar yourself. Thank you.

Hello RogerRusch, sugar is added to most tomato sauces as tomatoes are naturally acidic. For sensory reasons, a minimal amount of sugar is added to Salsa all'Italiana Napoli to break up the acidity of the sauce, which consists of tomato concentrate, among other things. We hereby assure you that we strive to improve the quality of our products on a daily basis. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

15 gr. sugar is too much, half would be enough and as RogerRusch already mentioned "if you want the sauce sweeter, you can add sugar yourself".

Which country do the tomatoes come from?

Hello nitro8, the tomatoes used come from Italy. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Please go back to the old recipe, it was great.

Hello rollimaus, thank you for your suggestion. We will be happy to pass it on to our specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

It is to be hoped that it will be implemented, because I find it incomprehensible that a top product should be so massively downgraded.

All the "old" reviews and questions have disappeared into nirvana here! ...and the price has already been increased again by -.10, so food is slowly becoming a luxury for pensioners and various others, only "high earners" can afford it.

My question regarding a recipe change has also been deleted

Hello rollimaus, thank you for your contribution. The Salsa all'Italiana Napoli has been given new packaging and a new article number. Accordingly, there was also a fresh Migipedia entry. As a result, the questions and reviews relating to the "old" article are no longer visible. The price increase was unfortunately due to rising prices for raw materials. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

and will the old questions and ratings be added now that you have found out the reason for the disappearance?

Guest

@M-Infoline, the fact that the recipe is now a completely different one probably went under, evaluation will follow in the days to come.

Hi everyone, the questions from the old article will not be added here. However, the recipe is effectively a new one. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

If the recipe has changed and the product is therefore practically "new", it makes perfect sense that the old questions/comments have been deleted. However, it is not transparent to the consumer when a product is considered "new". There are also various products where the recipe has been changed and the ratings have been retained. Perhaps the date of the last recipe adjustment could be noted on Migipedia?

Hello hardid61, thank you for the suggestion. We are not currently planning to add such information. However, we have gladly placed your exciting idea accordingly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
