Can you just buy rice pudding at the place?

Sushi rice and milk rice are completely different.
Sushi rice tends to be stickier (because it has more starch) and milk rice tends to be creamier (therefore more suitable for sweet dishes)
Both products are the same type of rice with the same origin (round grain rice, Originario).
But you can just wash it off and get the same product?!

We found out that the M-Classic Originario is actually a round grain rice that is ideal for making sushi - a great choice if you want to make sushi at home. Saitaku sushi rice, on the other hand, is a branded product that comes from a different supplier and is made from different raw materials.
