Hello, recently in Migros Lenzburg: The price declaration on the shelf shows a quantity of 76g content for CHF 3.70, but there are only 72g in the packaging. That's 5% missing! Where did they go?

Well, Migros still determines the final price. I don't know whether it's justified or not, as I don't know the product.
The fact is that the price information in Migros is wrong and I as a consumer am being "cheated" out of 5% of the contents. It doesn't matter whether it's own brand or not. I paid 5.14 for 100g and not 4.87 as written on the rack!!!

72 g e is the indication of the nominal filling quantity (here: nominal weight in grams) with an EU estimation mark.
For weighed or filled products within the European Union, there is usually an e next to the filling weight or filling volume. This indicates that the filling process complied with the European Prepackaging Directive.
