Hello indios, miso paste can be used in different ways in Japanese cuisine, depending on taste and recipe. Depending on whether you want to prepare a soup, a marinade or another recipe. For example, you can find a recipe for marinated eggplant on the homepage: https://www.saitaku.co/recipes/miso-glazed-aubergine/. There are various recipes for a soup base: for example, we recommend 8 dl water and 72 g miso paste for 4 people. Depending on how many other rather salty ingredients you use, the miso paste can be increased or reduced. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, is this miso pasteurized or not? Thank you
Hello crihai, thank you for your question. This paste undergoes a heat treatment during production. According to Swiss law, the temperature and time parameters are set so that the product can be declared as pasteurized. However, this is not specifically stated on the packaging.
