Disastrous shelf life. I regularly have to throw them away because they are mushy after just 1 day. Often already mushy on the shelf. Go to Aldi and have a look at the rocket there. It keeps for 1 week at home and is still perfect:

Bought at Migros Montreux on 23.8., packed on 21.8. in Pully, the ruccola was to be prepared on 24.8. Unfortunately, it was already completely wilted and no longer fresh. Fresca label?

Die länglichen, gezackten Blätter sind in den letzten Jahren zum Trendkraut avanciert. Rucola gibt es jedoch schon seit dem Mittelalter. Mit Parmesan bildet er ein kulinarisches Traumpaar wie Tomaten mit Mozzarella. Er macht sich auch gut auf Pizza, in Risotto sowie als Pesto und Würze für Pasta.
